About Pastor Cedric Halbert

Pastor Cedric Oneal Halbert is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and a laborer of the Gospel of Jesus Christ since 2001. He was mentored and sat under the Pastor's ship of the late Dr. Ronald C. Bridewell of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He maintained his seat under the Pastor ship of the successor, Dr. Wilbert Goatley Jr. His mentors also included Pastor Ships: Al Guy Clark of Greater Christland M.B. Church, Bishop Walter C. Maddox of Mesarim Tabernacle, Pastor A.M. Smith of Original Friendship M.B. Church, and Pastor Edward Morgan of Mt. Esther M.B. Church. He was influenced by including but not limited to, the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Motivational Speaker and Author Les Brown and Dr. Charles F. Stanley of First Baptist M.B. Church and founder of In Touch Ministries in Atlanta GA. Pastor Halbert was ordained by Pastor Dr. Sammie Anthony Jr. in December 2004. Pastor Cedric Halbert has been recognized and noted as an inspiring teacher in Sunday School, Baptist Training Union, Children’s Church, and a gifted orator as well. He also serves as a mentor and motivational speaker for the youth. Pastor Cedric has served faithfully in the community as a volunteer with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (St. Louis), Urban K-Life, Better Family Life, Cardinals Care, and Youth In Need. He also serves in Nursing homes and Feed the Hungry Ministries. He consistently strives to be a Humanitarian for the Lord, which is the “solid rock” upon which he and his family stand his devoted wife Gwen and their 3 children.

Pastor Cedric believes that to love God is to Love and to serve all humanity. He’s certified in Christian Evangelism from the National Baptist Convention-USA- Christian Education Department of Nashville, TN. He’s currently advancing his Christian education and research at Brookes Bible College earning his degree in Biblical Studies/Urban and Inner City missions.

He’s a member of the 100 Black Men of St. Louis, Mo, and has a National/International Syndicated Podcast Show titled, “Fight For Your Dreams, in which he goes by the name Pastor “C” Coach Halbert. He is recognized as a “Life Coach” by RCR Resilient Christian Network, he promotes Positive and Nonderogatory Music to make a difference in today’s society and to bring positive music back to the radio airwaves for the youth. Pastor Cedric Halbert founded his Youth Outreach “Gonna Fly Now with Christ Ministries” in 2013. He’s a Christian/Inspirational artist and is about to make his debut as an author with his first book entitled, “Don’t You Dare give up on God” The word of God says,” He giveth power to the faint, and to them that have no might he increases strength, Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint” Isaiah 40:29-31.
